Analytics

This is one of the most important parts of the journal — analyzing errors. I dive deep into each trade to identify where my thought process and execution went wrong.

Each trade is tagged with errors for review, categorized into the following areas:

• Opening Errors: Issues with entering trades, such as poor analysis or timing.
• Trade Management Errors: Problems managing the trade, like ignoring exit signals.
• Stop Loss Errors: Missteps in setting or adjusting stop losses.
• Take Profit Errors: Exiting too early or turning winners into round trips.

I use TradingView charts to annotate and visualize these errors, helping me learn and refine my strategy over time. This process has to be personalized to match each trader’s unique patterns.
